Organika - Case study

Note: this is just a personal study and not an original product of Organika.

For this project, I decided to create a product based on Organika's visual identity. The objective was to find creative results while respecting a pre-existing pattern of design choices.

Organika is an amazing brand of natural heath products based in British Columbia. I really appreciate the quality of their supplements and the use of clean, minimalistic design and natural color palette on their visual identity.

Below, the final result:
For this product, I went from micro to macro: first, I understood the organization of their labels, and then build up to the design aspects that are common in all the products, website and social media.

Since I didn't have access to their typography and other vectorized elements, I had to improvise: adjusts in Photoshop, print screens, specific research on terms like GMT Practices, etc. I also used tools like WhatTheFont, that identify typography based on images.

Some of my personal choices and innovations were: the use of different colors for the MULTI word, including their green and blue between other colors that were new to the palette; and the inclusion of illustrations for the recommended daily dose and periods of use.
After applying the label to a pill bottle mockup, I decided to go a little bit further: create a promotional image, and see how it would look in an outdoor.
Thanks for watching.
